ASU Recent Winners of the Sigma Xi GIAR Program

The Department of Biology is pleased to announce our latest Sigma Xi GIAR awards. This program awards grants up to $1000 each March and October for over a dozen research focus areas. Students are competing with their peers at a national/international level with the graduate students (PhD & MS) and undergraduates usually separated into two different categories. From 2000-2011 ASU has averaged 2.6 grants/yr and has averaged 4.5 grants/yr from 2006-2011. In 2010 and 2011 we set our new record at 6 grants!
